Abstract

Objective:To study the thermal damage of human vaginal stump tissues with monopoly electrocoagulation,bipolar electrocoagulation and ultrasound knife in total laparoscopic hysterectomy(TLH),in order to choose electeosurgery equipments wisely in gynecological laparoscopic surgery.Methods:Radical hysterectomy were carried out in patients with carcinoma of endometrium.A total of 60 cases of vaginal stump tissues were performed separately monopoly electrocoagulation,bipolar electrocoagulation and ultrasound knife.And the differences of the thermal damage width of vaginal stump tissues were detected.Results:The thermal damage width with monopoly electrocoagulation[(3.1197±0.5825)mm]was smaller than the bipolar electrocoagulation[(4.1953±0.6805)mm],but grater than the ultrasound knife[(2.6460±0.6192)mm].There were significant differences among them (F=47.842,P=0.000).There was significant difference among the three groups respectively (P=0.001).Conclusion:The thermal damage width with bipolar electrocoagulation was the largest and the least with ultrasound knife.It is necessary to choose the laparoscopic electrosurgical reasonably to avoid side-injury during cutting vaginal wall in TLH.
