Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of Kanglaite on T-cell subset and life quality of patients treated with colon cancer chemotherapy. Methods A total of 40 patients with advanced colon cancer admitted to our hospital were selected and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group(n=20,respectively).The chemotherapy regimen was FOLFOX + cetuximab. The observation group was additionally treated with 200 ml Kanglaite Injection by intravenous drip, once a day, three weeks a course of treatment, and for three consecutive courses. The changes in CD4+,CD8+,CD4+/CD8+,NK cell count and QLQ-C30 score before and after the treatment between the two groups were compared. Results Before the treatment, there was no statistical difference in the T-cell subsets and NK cell between the two groups (P > 0.05);after the treatment, the T-cell subsets and NK cell levels in the observation group were higher than those before the treatment and those in the control group (P < 0.05),while the T-cell subsets and NK cell before and after the treatment in the control group had no significant difference (P > 0.05).After the treatment, the overall health scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the scores of emotion, cognition, pain, vomiting, nausea and decreased appetite were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05).Conclusion The application of Kanglaite Injection in advanced colon cancer patients receiving chemotherapy can significantly improve their cellular immune function, improve their quality of life and help to improve the prognosis of patients.关键词
