摘要

Abstract

Acid catalyzed method was used to synthesize poly propylene glycol ether by two steps which based on the reaction of epoxy chloride with propylene glycol 400. The effect of ring opening reaction tempera-ture and time, closed- loop temperature and time, catalyst dosage and the molar ratio of alcohol to alkane on the property of product were explored. The results showed that the molar ratio of alcohol to alkane, ring open-ing reaction temperature and catalyst dosage were main influence factors. An orthogonal experiment of three factors and three levels was designed. Epoxy value and yield of the product were main evaluating indicators and brushing fastness of pigment dyeing was used as auxiliary indicators for evaluating the performance of linking. The optimizing conditions were the molar ratio of alcohol to alkane 1:4, catalyst dosage 0.2 mL, ring opening reaction temperature 50 ℃, ring opening reaction time 3 h, closed- loop reaction temperature 50 ℃, closed- loop reaction time 4 h. FTIR spectra showed that the epoxy group was successfully grafted onto the polyether chain. The application of pigment dyeing showed that when baking temperature was 120 ℃, the brushing fastness reached to grade 4 and K/S value was high. The goal of low temperature crosslinking was achieved.
