Abstract
Objective To evaluate the outcome and safety of treatment of rhegmatogenous retinal detachment with minimally invasive 23G vitreous surgery system.Methods Ninety patients diagnosed with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment in the ophtalmology department of Renmin Hospital from March 2014 to September 2015 were included in this study.All patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,which received 23G vitreous cutting surgery and 20G vitreous cutting surgery,respectively.After surgery,retinal reattachment,visual acuity and intraocular pressure were examined,and postoperative complications were recorded.Results There was no significant difference in the rate of retinal reattachment between the observation group (91.11％) and the control group (86.67％).LogMAR visual acuity of the observation group was better than that of the control group in the first week after operation(P＜0.05),but the difference was not statistically significant three months later.There was no change in intraocular pressure in both groups after surgery,compared with those before surgery.No significant difference in the postoperative complications was observed between two groups.Conclusion The minimally invasive 23G vitreous cutting surgery was useful and safe to treat patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment.关键词
