The Application of Endoscope on Double Planar Prosthesis Augmentation Mammaplasty through Axilla Incision

Abstract
Objective To explore the effects of double planar prosthesis augmentation mammaplasty with endoscope. Methods To strip the pectoralis major space with endoscope through axilla incision, divided part of pectoralis major starting point, formed a double plane, then placed the prosthesis. Results The patients were 56 cases. The mean postoperative follow-upperiod was 11 months (range 6-24 months). Good surgical outcomes were obtained, and the procedure was reproducible. They had no complications such as hematoma and contracture. Conclusion The method allowed the authors to achieve dual-plane augmentation mammaplasty through axilla incision. We turnde blind operation into visual operation, made the operation much more clear and simple. For the axillary endoscopic sub glandular tunneling approach, a long sub glandular tunnel was created along the lateral portion of the pectoralis majormuscle under the aid of endoscopy through the axillary approach. We reduced the bondage of prosthesis by pectorails major and reduced the pain and contracture. The postoperative look is beautiful and the feeling is realistic. We believe it can yield constant and satisfactory outcomes.关键词
