Abstract
Objective To observe the efficacy of adipose derived stem cells (ADSCs) to reduce skin melanin content of photoaging. Methods The back skin of bilateral ears from 6-week old nude mice(18-22g) was exposed to the ultraviolet radiation once every two days, 30min each time. Four weeks later, the successful establishment of the photoaging model was determined by observing the skin changes and Fontana-Masson dyeing. The ADSCs was randomly injected into a side back subcutaneous area of ears using the micro syringe, while the other side was injected with equivalent Hank's Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) as controls. Fontana-Masson stain was performed to observe the number of melanin in the skin. Results The number of melanin in ADSCs group was smaller than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Conclusion Photoaging can lead to an increase in melanin content of skin. ADSCs can reduce the melanin content of photoaging skin.关键词
