摘要
Abstract
Sj(o)gren's syndrome (SS) and autoimmune thyroid disease (AITD) share similar genetic background,etiology and pathogenesis.Coexistence of SS and AITD is common.Among them,primary hypothyroidism and autoimmune thyroiditis complicated with SS have been described more commonly than other AITD types.Because of the different AITD types along with SS,clinical manifestations in patients of SS with AITD are quite different.Besides,antithyroid antibody are often positive in SS-AITD patients.Therefore,SS is closely related to AITD,and screening for existing AITD during the routine assessment of SS patients is recommended.关键词
