Abstract
Low rectum is the high risk area in rectal cancer,and is difficult to manage in clinic practice.Extensive researches are being carried out in diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer,due to its special anatomical site and function,as well as the function of adjacent organs.New techniques and conceptions include extra-levator abdominoperineal excision (ELAPE),transanal total mesorectal excision (TaTME),strategy of "watch and see" and delayed surgery after neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy constantly appear,which lay the foundation for individualized precise treatment of rectal cancer.关键词
