Abstract
In this experiment,the effect of Asparagus officinalis stem leaf silage ration on the productive performance,rumen fermentation parameters and blood indices in growing Hu sheep was explored.Thirty-six Hu sheep weighted (19.46 t 2.07) kg were divided into two groups.The specific ration of either the treated group or the control group,in each the energy and protein were basically the same,was designed based on the feeding standard of sheep (2004).The treated group was fed on the A.officinalis stem leaf silage ration and the control group was fed on the peanut vine ration.The feeding assay lasted 60 days,when the digestion and metabolism experiment were conducted,and the pre-experiment period was 7 days.The body weight of sheep was measured at both the beginning and end of the trial,and rumen fluid and blood were collected at the end of the experiment.The results showed that there was no significant difference in average daily growth,relative growth or feed intake/daily weight gain (P＞0.05) between the treated group and the control group,which raised the economic benefits by reducing the cost of average daily weight gain.The experiment ration group,significantly decreased the concentration of acetate and the acetate/propionate (P＜0.05),which had no significant effect on the content of MCP,NH3-N,propionate,butyrate (P＞0.05),and also significantly reduced the concentration ofALB (P＜0.05),but had no prominent effect on TP,GLOB,GLU,CHOL,TG,NEFA,TBIL,CREA,ALT,AST,SOD (P＞0.05).In summary,the A.officinalis stem leaf silage ration had little effect on the growth performance of growing Hu sheep and could improve the economic benefit,indicating that the cheap plant had a good application prospect.关键词
