Controversy of surgical management for adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction
摘要
Abstract
The incidence of adenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction (AEG) has been increasing worldwide. The trend from surgery to combined treatment has changed the modern algorithm for AEG. Though debate exists, such as TNM staging, surgical approach, gastrectomy type and model of multidisc-iplinary treatment, surgical resection still remains the main procedure. It should be emphasized that role of multidisciplinary team and the individualized therapy in the treatment for AEG. To improve the quality of life is the goal in the future.关键词
