摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of Rumex L. root extract on the morphology of dominant organs in mice with experimen-tal psoriasis. Methods The experimental psoriasis model was established in BALB/c mice by applying Imiquimod ( IMQ ) cream, then to observe the effects of Rumex L. root extract ( 1, 2, 4 g/kg ) on mice′s dominating organs such as brain, heart, liver, organ index and morphology. Results Compared with the model group, the effects of 1, 2, 4 g/kg groups on the brain, heart, liver and organ index of mice had no statistically different ( P > 0. 05 ) , at the same time, there was no obvious abnormality in brain and heart morphology, but it could cause liver cell regeneration, acidophilic degeneration. Conclusion Rumex L. root extract can protect and repair the morphological damage of dominating organ of liver on experimental psoriasis mice by induced IMQ.
