Numerical Analysis of Daylight Availability in Residential Areas With Cold Climates: Dynamic Model
摘要
Abstract
To explore hte impacts of residential layout in cold eity on daylight availability,this study investigated the daylight availability (sunlight and skylight) of three various typical building layouts in residential urban areas with cold climates.Vertical daylight illuminance (annual profile and in four typical days) along the centre south facades was calculated by using Daysim,a Radiance-based CBDM tool.A dynamic analysis has been conducted.The achieved results showed there are significant impacts of building layout and various periods on daylight availability.It has been also suggested that the daylighting potential could be assessed at the earlier stage of urban design in residential areas.关键词
