Effect of Pre-compression Deformation on Stress-strain Behavior of AZ31 Alloy

Abstract
The the extruded AZ31 alloy with different pre-deformation amount was processed,and the subsequent compression and tensile deformation behavior were compared and analyzed,the microstructure and mechanical properties of AZ31 alloy with different deformation were investigated,and the mechanism was analyzed.The results show that,with the increase of pre-compression deformation,the content of twin crystal increases,while equiaxed crystal decreases;with the increase of pre-compression deformation,AZ31 alloy's compression yield strength shows a gradual increase trend,while the tensile yield strength gradually reduces;with the pre-deformation from 0% to 1.0%,the yield asymmetry ratio is close to 1.0,and when the pre-deformation amount is greater than 1.5%,the yield asymmetry ratio began to increase;in the machining process of AZ31 alloy,in order to reduce the alloy's tensile and compressive yield asymmetry,the suitable predeformation should be controlled in 1.0% to 1.5%.关键词
