摘要

Abstract

The impacts of different additives on the performance of copper-based friction materials in powder metallurgy were studied.Two types of graphite,i.e.the flaky graphite and the artificial graphite,and their respective mixtures with 0.1% carbon fibers (mass fraction) were used as the additives in the research.The results show that the mixture of the artificial graphite with carbon fibers is more effective in decreasing the friction coefficient and improving the heat conduction property.However,the flaky graphite mostly leads to the lower friction coefficient and the less abrasion loss under different rotational speeds,compared with the other three groups.
