Abstract
Based on the characteristics of weather index agricultural insurance and its development in China, the difficulties faced by the development of weather index insurance were analyzed, including the lack of meteorological data, the difficulty of product pricing, the insufficiency of effective demand and the low level of government support.Based on the analysis of problems and experiences of other countries, some suggestions were put forward:First,to increase the number of weather stations and improve legislation;second,to improve the design of insurance products;third,to increase the propaganda in order to increase the demand of weather index insurance;fourth,to improve the distribution channel;fifth,to improve loss sharing mechanism of meteorological disasters.关键词
