Research on dynamic response of rock slopes with discontinuous joints
摘要
Abstract
Two same-sized models of bedding and count-tile rock slopes with discontinuous joints were designed, and shaking table tests are performed to analyze the seismic response differences between bedding and count-tilt rock slopes with discontinuous joints. The research results show that under earthquake, the PGA amplification factors of bedding and the count-tilt rock slopes with discontinuous joints increase with the elevation, that is the elevation amplification effect. On the top of bedding and count-tilt rock slopes, the PGA amplification factor reaches the maximum, it shows that slope top is most unstable. When the seismic amplitude is low, the PGA amplification factor of the count-tilt slope is larger than that of the bedding slope. However, with the increase of the amplitude of seismic amplitude, the PGA amplification factor of the bedding slope is larger than that of the count-tilt slope. Along with the increase of seismic load, the displacements of the bedding and count-tilt slopes with discontinuous joints are greatly increased, the displacement of count-tilt slope is smaller than the bedding slope. The count-tilt slope is more stable than the bedding slope. The bedding slope slides along the discontinuous joints and then failure occurs, but the count-tilt slope occurs the overall instability damage because the approximate vertical tension cracks and shear cracks in the lower part of the slope are connected.关键词
