摘要

Abstract

According the measured data of rectangular tunnel in soft soil area of Kunming, the Peck empirical formula was modified. In the light of the characteristics of constructing order, the modified Peck formula was put forward, which includes two formulas for the left and right line respectively, and parametersαR andαL were introduced to modify excavation widthD in both formulas. Furthermore, parametersβR andβL were also introduced to modify width factor of settlement in left and right line formulas. The improved Peck formula can well predict surface construction settlement of rectangular tunnel in soft soil area.
