摘要

Abstract

Various types of faults may occur in the operation of electric power system,we should detect the fault location in the case that the distribution network is required to continue supplying power.This paper adopts TWACS communication technology to detect and confirm the fault location according to the recorded messages of the substation when a fault occurs by the use of positive-sequence differential-current unit value and the means of two-terminal fault location algorithm based on the detection of parameters.TWACS technology is used to identify faults and transfer fault information after the failure occurs,the first is targeting the section,the second is accurately locating the fault in the fault zone,and thus rapidly excluding the fault.Finally,the feasibility of the method s verified by icollecting the data of Matlab simulation and examples.
