摘要

Abstract

A super-low temperature method for synthesizing expanded graphite as anode material for lithium-ion battery was reported.The phase,morphology and structure of the expanded graphite were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscope (SEM) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) measurements;the electrochemical performance was tested by the galvanostatic charge/discharge process.The results show that the acquired graphite with comb-like porosity structure has specific area of 54 m2/g.The expanded graphite has good performance for lithium-ion insertion/extraction.At the current density of 100 mA/g,the initial specific capacity can reach 410 mAh/g,and the capacity (about 400 mAh/g) retention is up to 95% after 220 cycles.It is a promising anode material for lithium-ion battery.
