Electronic Voltage Transformer Based on Double Integrator for Power Quality Detection in Smart Grid

Abstract
It is difficult to meet the power quality detection requirements on wide frequency domain and high accuracy in the smart grid for existing voltage transformers.Implementation of the double integrator based electronic voltage transformer (EVT) is proposed, in which the main integrator and the assistant integrator work together to achieve both wide-band frequency response characteristics and the rapid transient response characteristics of the EVT.The principles of the double integrator based EVT are explained, and the frequency-response characteristics of both the main integrator and the assistant integrator are analyzed.The simulation analysis of harmonic and transient disturbance detection performance of the EVT and experiments on the EVT prototype are also conducted.The analysis and experimental results show that the double integrator based EVT can meet the requirements of less than 60 times of harmonic voltage detection with high accuracy.And its good performance on transforming transient disturbances is definitely in conformity with the smart grid's power quality requirements.关键词
