混合式直流断路器在柔性直流电网中应用初探

Abstract
High voltage direct current (HVDC) grid based on modular multilevel converter (MMC) is one of the most promising transmission technologies toward future power grids. However, the MMC-HVDC grid poses a great challenge of DC-fault clearing difficulty. By comparing three isolation techniques of DC faults, the hybrid HVDC circuit breaker (DCCB) is chosen to isolate DC faults. Based on a differential-current fault detection technology, a DC grid protection scheme is proposed, which includes a DC transmission line protection, a DC busbar protection that can consider the distributed line capacitive current. Then the principle of protection parameter settings is discussed. A four-terminal MMC-HVDC grid is used to verify validity and feasibility of the proposed hybrid DCCB based scheme on PSCAD/EMTDC platform. The results show that the proposed differential protection scheme can exhibit proper selectivity and speed, and the hybrid DCCBs can clear DC faults within several milliseconds.关键词
