摘要

Abstract

The monodispersed micro-ellipsoid zinc oxide with uniform size has been synthesized via practical solvothermal method.The size and shape of this micro-ellipsoid can be controlled by means of changing the experimental conditions.The obtained samples have been analyzed by X-ray diffraction,scanning electron microscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) and photoluminescence.The monodispersed micro-ellipsoid zinc oxide have been used to the photocatalytic degradation of MO in traviolet light in order to investigate the photocatalytic performance of the dye methyl orange (MO) as the simulation of organic pollutants.
