Influence of Aeolian Sand Content on Mechanism of Mortar and Concrete

Abstract
Aeolian sand mortar and concrete were configured mixing with a certain dosage of Yulin aeolian sand (by mass fraction of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% and 60%) instead of ordinary river sand.Influence of aeolian sand content was studied on the dosage and compressive strength of mortar and concrete.In view of the sand particle size, grain size, gradation as well as the activation reaction of SiO2 and Al2O3 etc., the effect mechanism of aeolian sand content on the dosage and compressive strength of mortar and concrete was studied.It turned out that, both the dosage and the compressive strength of mortar and concrete increased at first and then decreased with the increase of aeolian sand content.The dosage of the specimen was improved significantly and the compressive strength was greatest when the aeolian sand content was 30% for the mortar.It also had a same impact rules on the concrete when the aeolian sand content was 40%.The conclusion has certain reference value for practical engineering of Yulin and surrounding areas.关键词
