摘要

Abstract

In this paper a novel hollow Bragg few modes fiber with transmission wavelength at 1550 nm is designed.The core of this fiber is air,with its cladding consisting of periodic distribution of high and low refractive index materials.With the photonic band gap effect,this paper analyzes the effects of mode field distribution,the limit loss of modes and the radial cladding structure on the performance of the optical fiber by using COMSOL Multiphysics simulation tool through the finite element method.
