Mechanisms of the inhibition of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss to Trichophyton rubrum based on heat shock protein

Abstract
Objective:To detect the effects and mechanisms of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss in Trichophyton rubrum.Methods:Disk diffusion was used to determine the susceptibility and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of Trichophyton rubrum.Real-time PCR and Western blot were used to determine the mRNA and protein levels of heat shock protein (Hsp) in Trichophyton rubrum after treated with Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss.Results:The proliferative ratio of Trichophyton rubrum was inhibited significantly by Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss.The levels of Hsp60 and Hsp90 mRNA and protein were lower in Trichophyton rubrum than the untreated ones.Conclusion:Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss could inhibit the proliferative ratio of Trichophyton rubrum by suppressing Hsp60 and Hsp90.关键词
