Abstract
Objective To observe the safety and the degree of comfort of intravenous combined anesthesia with midazolam and fentanyl in bronchoscopy.Methods A total of 320 patients scheduled for bronchoscopy were divided into observation group(n =164) and control group (n =156).The control group was given surface anesthesia with lidocaine alone,while the observation group was given intravenous combined anesthesia with midazolam and fentanyl besides the anesthesia performed in the control group.The changes of transcutaneous blood oxygen saturation,heart rate and blood pressure before,during and after operation were observed in the two groups,and the incidence rates of intraoperative frequent cough,intraoperative pain and panic,and postoperative bad memory as well as the postoperative satisfaction rate were compared between the two groups.Results There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of preoperative hypotension,intraoperative hypoxia,intraoperative hypotension,postoperative hypoxia,postoperative heart rate fluctuations or postoperative hypotension between the two groups(P ＞ 0.05).The observation group had higher incidence rate of preoperative hypoxia and lower incidence rates of preoperative and intraoperative heart rate fluctuations compared to the control group (P ＜ 0.05).In the observation group,the incidence rates of intraoperative frequent cough,intraoperative pain and panic,and postoperative bad memory were lower than those in the control group,and the postoperative satisfaction rate was higher than that in the control group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Intravenous combined anesthesia with midazolam and fentanyl applied to bronchoscopy is a comfortable,safe and reliable method,which is worthy of clinical popularization.关键词
