Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of vascularized free flaps for repairing postoperative defects of oral and maxillofacial tumors.Methods Ten patients with oral and maxillofacial malignant tumors underwent one-stage repair and reconstruction for postoperative soft and hard tissue defects with vascularized free flaps consisting of forearm flap in 6 cases,fibula flap in 2 cases and anterior-lateral thigh flap in 2 cases.Results Postoperative vascular crisis occurred in 2 cases,1 flap was successfully rescued and the other flap failed to survive.No vascular crisis was found in the other 8 cases.The flap survival rate was 90%(9/10).No recurrence occurred in any cases during the follow-up.Good reconstructed oral and maxillofacial appearance was observed in all cases.The oral function of the patients was barely affected.Conclusion Tansplantation with vascularized free flap is an effective and reliable approach for repairing postoperative defects of oral and maxillofacial tumors.关键词
