Abstract
In order to analyze dynamic characteristics of flat membrane structures (including membrane and tensioning system),modal analysis for a flat membrane structure with multiple pockets in vacuum and air is carried out by finite element simulation and a modal testing system is built.Flatness of the flat membrane structure is measured by photogrammetric testing technique and the modal is tested by a scanning laser vibrometer.Validity of the modal simulation analysis is demonstrated by experimental results.Based on the verified modeling technique,further research results show that the fundamental frequency of flat membrane structures is approximately proportional to the square root of cable tension force and the fundamental frequency decreases with the in creasing of radius of pocket,but the decrease magnitude is small.Therefore,in order to increase the fundamental frequency of flat membrane structures,increasing cable tension force is much more efficient than decreasing radius of pocket.关键词
