Analysis of the eddy vertical structure in different areas in the North Pacific

Abstract
The difference of eddy vertical structure in different areas in the North Pacific (NP) was analyzed with eddies identified in 19 years(1993-2011) and Argo data in the NP.By comparing eddy vertical structure in four different areas (the Subtropical Countercurrent,the Kuroshio extension,the Oyashio Current and east coast of North Pacific),the results show that the cyclones and anticyclones have similar structure in the same area,but the eddy structure distinct from each other in different areas,especially in the Kuroshio extension.The vertical temperature anomaly of eddies in this area is larger than other areas,and the depth of cores is deeper.Furthermore,the temperature anomaly in depth from 100 m to 600 m is large generally in this area.关键词
