摘要

Abstract

The objective of this study is to review the influences of ovariectomy on the relative mRNA expression levels of muscle cell growth inhibition(MSTN)and myogenin(MYOG)genes in liver,longissimus muscle,biceps femoris of the hybrid Boer ewes.It was designed to investigate whether ovariectomy can promote growth and development of lambs.The hybrid ewes of Boer goats with similar weight about 5 months old were randomly divided into test(n=20)and control groups(n=20),and the ewes in the test group were ovariectomized at the beginning of the experiment and the control group was not removed.After raising 60 days,the ewes of the two groups were randomly selected to slaughter.The RT-qPCR was used to detect the relative mRNA expression levels of MSTN and MYOG gene in liver,longissimus muscle,biceps femoris.The relative mRNA expression level of MSTN gene in biceps femoris of ovariectomized ewes was 8.73 times higher than that in control group(P<0.01),whereas the MSTN gene in liver and longissimus muscle were lower compared with those in control group(P>0.05).The relative mRNA expression levels of MYOG gene in longissimus muscle and biceps femoris were 5.12 and 6.51 times extremely higher than those in control group(P<0.01),and which in liver of treated group was 2.23 times higher than that in control group(0.01<P<0.05).Thus it can be seen that ovariectomy enhanced the relative mRNA expression levels of MYOG gene in liver,longissimus muscle and biceps femoris of hybrid ewes of Boer goat,and also increased expression of MSTN gene in biceps femoris.
