Energy management strategy for photovoltaic DC microgrid with distributed hybrid energy storage system

Abstract
In order to better manage the large-scale distributed photovoltaic power generation units, this paper divides the photovoltaic DC microgrid into regions and each region is equipped with hybrid energy storage unit with certain capacity and regional controller to realize regional autonomy. According to the relationship between the output power of each regional PV and load power as well as the difference SOC among energy storage units, the system is divided into five operation modes. The energy management strategy under different operating modes is given, and the control strategy of Boost converter for PV and bi-directional DC/DC converter for energy storage units is designed. Finally, a photovoltaic DC microgrid that contains multiple regions is built in Simulink, and the results show that the proposed method can optimize the output of the element under the premise of ensuring the stable operation of the system.关键词
