Influence of Vibration on the Sealing Performance of Glyd-ring

Abstract
The working environment of the tunnel boring machine(TBM) is complex and is often accompanied by strong vibration, thrust hydraulic cylinder often occurs Internal leakage in the working process of TBM, the main reason is that the vibration weakened the sealing capacity of the hydraulic cylinder sealing ring. Firstly the mathematical model of the hydraulic cylinder gap fluctuation was established in the foundation vibration,using MATLAB/Simulink analyze the law of the gapfluctuation under different foundation vibration parameters, then a two-dimensional model of glyd-ring was built by ABAQUS, the sealing performance of the glyd-ring influenced by gap fluctuation amplitude and gap fluctuation frequency were studied. Results shows that: glyd-ring sealing ability decreases with the increase of the vibration amplitude of the foundation;glyd-ring sealing ability decreases with the increase of frequency when foundation vibration frequency is lower than 30Hz or more than 60 Hz; the frequency change has little effect on glyd-ring sealing performance when the foundation vibration frequency is 30-60 Hz.关键词
