摘要

Abstract

To analyze the hydrolysis process, separate and make use of the components in straw hydrolysate, it is important to determine them. In this work, furfural (F) and 5 -hydroxymethylfurfural (5-HMF) which are the degradation products of monosaccharides in biomass hydrolysate were detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The samples were separated by AlltimaTM C18 column at 30℃. The mobile phase was acetonitrile and water (with 0.1%acetic acid) under a fixed volume ratio of 10:90, and the flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. They were detected by ultraviolet (UV) detector at 285 nm. Excellent linearity can be obtained (R2:0.9998 for F and 0.9999 for 5-HMF). The average recovery values were 99.8%and 100.3%respectively, and the relative standard deviation percentage (R SD ) was less than 1%. This method can achieve good precision, high accuracy and good reproducibility, and provide an accurate, sensitive and rapid analysis method for F and 5-HMF in straw hydrolysate.
