Next-generation unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) cooperative communications

Abstract
Recently,with the development of evolved wireless mobile communications systems,unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communications have attracted wide attention internationally.Compared with the traditional fixed-base station based network coverage,UAVs have the advantage of more flexible network deployment,which are especially attractive to many potential applications in military and civil fields.To complete some more complex tasks,UAVs can self-organize with each other to form a cooperative communication system,thus improving the capacity of UAV communications and enhancing the reliability of transmissions between UAVs and their outside world.However,UAV communications also face many problems to be addressed,including the spectrum resource allocation for different UAV systems,physical-layer security for UAV transmissions,and energy supply for UAVs.Firstly,the background of UAV communications is introduced.Then,some key technologies of UAV communications,such as the spectrum resource allocation,the physical-layer security and the energy supply are reviewed.Finally,the future development of UAV communications is discussed.关键词
