Abstract
The rapid development of Chinese tourism industry has brought great changes in the hotel industry,competition in the hotel industry has become increasingly fierce.Employees are the core resource of the development of hotels,the high turnover rate of employees has largely influenced the sustainable development of the hotel industry and becomes one of the focal points of academic and industrial.Based on the depth interviews on employees in the Y Hotel and those who have already left the hotel,this study analyzed the status of employees' turnover.Firstly,the turnover rate of female employees was higher than men's.Secondly,the turnover rate of employees who were in the marriageable age was significantly higher than those not.Thirdly,young employees had a higher tendency to leave.Finally,there was a positive relationship between the turnover rate and education background.The negative influences of employee turnover were the cost incurring,the confusional workflow,business suffers and destabilized team.The business philosophy,working environment and remuneration were important factors of employee turnover.In order to retain the key employees of the hotel,this study proposed some effective countermeasures.关键词
