Abstract

The fish peptide was produced through hydrolyzing low-value fish wastes using multi-enzyme method.And the effects of fish peptide on seed germination of pepper, tomato and brinjaul under salt stress were explored.The results showed that neutral protease and flavourzyme had stronger hydrolyzing ability on fish wastes.When neutral protease and flavourzyme were adopted together at the ratio of 1∶3, the optimal technology conditions were multi-enzyme of 3.7% (E/S), pH value of 6.8 and temperature of 52℃.Under these conditions, after hydrolyzing for 360 minutes, the hydrolyzing degree reached 41.41%, the fish peptide yield was 78.73% with the purity of 76.82%.When three kinds of vegetable seeds were soaked with 0.1%~0.7% fish peptide, the germination rate, germination energy, germination index and vigor index showed rising trends in varying degrees under salt stress.Among which, the remission effects of 0.5% fish peptide were the best.These results indicated that pretreating vegetable seeds with the suitable concentration of fish peptide could effectively ease the damage caused by salt stress.
