Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of the time from ovum pick-up (OPU) to subsequent frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET) on clinical outcomes in patients receiving clomiphene citrate mild stimulation protocol and freeze-all strategy.Methods Data of 262 freeze-all cycles were retrospectively analyzed.Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) was performed by mild stimulation protocol with clomiphene citrate.Endometrial preparation was performed in an artificial cycle.Reproductive outcomes among FETs which took place within the first menstrual cycle following OPU (C1, n =94), the second menstrual cycle following OPU (C2, n =86),or afterwards (C3, n =82) were compared.Results The differences of age ( P =0.205),BMI( P =0.904),the total amount of clomiphene citrate ( P =0.095) and stimulation period ( P =0.355),the number of retrieved oocytes ( P =0.503),fertilization rate( P =0.314)and obtained embryos ( P =0.265),endometrial thickness ( P =0.423) and the number of embryos transferred ( P =0.198) on transfer day were not statistically significant among the three groups.There was no difference for clinical pregnancy rate ( P =0.507),implantation rate ( P =0.499),continued pregnancy rate ( P =0.512) and live birth rate ( P =0.720) among the three groups.Conclusion The time from OPU to FET does not affect the outcomes in patients receiving mild stimulation protocol with clomiphene citrate.关键词
