摘要

Abstract

Braking system defect affects automobile safety, and is one of the important causes of recall. This essay analyzes the status quo of automobile recall caused by automobile braking system defects, puts forward the rating of hazard and possibility probability of accidents resulted from automobile braking system defects, proposes a risk assessment procedure on the basis of risk matrix method. It also conducts feasibility study with real automobile recall cases in China, the result of which shows that the defect risk matrix method can identify braking system defects and guide the related recall activities of automobile producers.
