摘要

Abstract

Objective: To explore the application and effect of traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis in elderly patients with insomnia after stroke.Methods: A total of 83 cases of elderly patients were diagnosed with insomnia after stroke in our hospital from May 2015 to May 2016,and they were collected as research objects by convenience sampling method.Based on admission numbers they were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The patients in control group were given conventional intervention,while the patients in observation group were given traditional Chinese medicine iontophoresis on the basis of the conventional intervention.After 4 weeks of intervention,the subjective and objective sleep status and efficacy of the elderly patients were assessed.Results: After the intervention,the score of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) in observation group was(8.90±4.75),it decreased 4.98 and was lower than that of in control group (12.56±5.31)(t=3.311,P=0.001).Compared with that in control group,the sleep latency of patients in observation group was shortened,the total sleep time was increased,and the sleep effect was significantly better than that of patients in control group (Z =634.500,P=0.030).Conclusions: Chinese medicine iontophoresis could shorten sleep latency,improve sleep efficiency and sleep quality of elderly patients with insomnia after stroke.
