摘要

Abstract

The method of improving the bearing capacity of rubber bed in the bulkhead wharf by using of heavy hammer,is very useful for the safety and stability of seacoast engineering.In this paper,based on the Particle-DEM method,a particle discrete element model of rubble bed is established,and the numerical experiments on the bearing capacity of rubble bed by using of Heavy hammer are carried out.It reveals that displacement is closely related to the bearing capacity of rubber bed in the process of heavy hammer tamping.The results show that the generated contact force is more dense in the bottom of loading beams of rubble bed,and with the increase of the contact force of ripped-rock,the bearing capacity of rubble bed increases,until the ultimate bearing capacity of ripped-rock is reached.The edge of rubble bed hunched up under the effect of mutual extrusion of ripped-rocks,with the uplift value up to 20 mm and compactness increased by 5%~10%.The results can provide reference for the study of the compactness and bearing capacity of rubble bed in similar projects.
