摘要

Abstract

When the mobile nodes are equipped with polarization antennas,communication quality of the data links can be improved at the same time to meet the constraints of the node volume.This paper studies the possibility of improving the performance of opportunistic relay selection cooperative communication by equipping with the polarization antennas.However,due to the scattering,refraction and polarization deflection of the polarized electromagnetic wave propagation in the space,the two polarization signals received by the receiver have some disadvantages such as correlation and power imbalance.The effects of polarization signal correlation and power imbalance on the outage probability and spectrum efficiency of opportunistic relay selection cooperative communication are studied.The obtained conclusion shows that the performances of opportunistic relay selection cooperative communication using polarization antennas than the traditional system without using polarization antennas under the same condition of SNR (signal-to-noise ratio),even if existing a certain level of correlation and power unbalance between the diversity branches.
