PIK3CA基因在浆液性卵巢癌中的拷贝数扩增分析及其机制探讨
DNA copy number analysis of PIK3CA in human serous ovarian cancer using TCGA database

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the prognosis and the underlying mechanism of PIK3CA in human serous ovarian cancer.Methods:PIK3CA copy number variation (CNV) data and its corresponding expression and clinical data in The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database were downloaded.Correlations between CNV and mRNA/protein,CNV and survival were assessed.Gene enrichment analysis by DAVID was used to predict the gene set co-expressed with PIK3CA.Results:Amplification of PIK3CA occurred in 27.7% serous ovarian cancer patients.The mRNA and protein levels of PIK3CA were positively correlated with its CNV status.Amplification of PIK3CA indicated better prognosis (OS:P=0.0469;PFS:P=0.0241).PIK3CA and its co-expressed genes were involved in Insulin signaling pathway,ErbB signaling pathway and mTOR signaling pathway.Conclusion:PIK3CA could be used as a potential prognostic factor in some type of tumors through different signaling pathways.关键词
