Abstract
For the mechanical fault diagnosis, a blind source separation method based on variational mode decomposition (VMD) was proposed to solve the underdetermined blind source separation problem, which means the number of the observation signals is less than that of the source signals. First, VMD method was used to decompose the observation signal, then the new observation signals composed of the BIMF components and the original observation signals were constructed, and the underdetermined blind source separation was transformed into a definite problem. Finally, the blind source separation (BSS) method was used to process the new observation signals. The simulation signals were used to compare with another underdetermined blind source separation method that based on empirical mode decomposition (EMD). The actual signals were used to verify the validity and feasibility of the proposed method. The method could provide reference and experience for solving the underdetermined blind source separation problem.关键词
