摘要

Abstract

Two pairs of primers for duck STING gene were designed based on the mammal STING genes.The quantification of duck STING and its tissue distribution were investigated using Real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR (qRT-PCR).This qRT-PCR was repeatable with the limit of detection as low as 4.8× 103 copies/μL,and absolute quantification linear range from 3.5× 10-5 to 0.27ng/μL.The duck STING mRNA was constitutively expressed in all tissues analyzed,with the highest levels in glandular stomach;higher levels in trachea,lung and small intestine;moderate levels in spleen,kidney,muscular stomach and liver;low levels in muscle and skin.The quantification method and tissue distribution determination of duck STING gene provide the foundation for further investigation of the role of duck STING in antiviral infection.
