摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the correlation between angiopoietin like protein 2 (Angptl2) level and islet cell function in patients with impaired glucose tolerance (IGT).Methods 60 patients with IGT and type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) admitted to our hospital were selected as an observation group, and another 60 healthy controls were selected as a control group. The Angptl2,fasting plasma glucose(FPG),fasting insulin(FNS),plasma glucose one hour after meal (PG1h) and plasma glucose two hours after meal (PG2h) in the two groups were detected and compared. Results The Angptl2 (2.2±0.7)μg/L,FPG (5.6±0.6)mmol/L,FNS (22.1±16.5)mU/L,PG1h(10.9±1.8)mmol/L and PG2 h (9.2±1.4)mmol/L in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, which were (0.8 ± 0.2)μg/L,(5.0±0.5) mmol/L,(14.8±7.01)mU/L (8.1±2.0)mmol/L and (5.8±1.1)mmol/L,respectively.(P < 0.05);The insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) and β3 cell insulin secretion index (MBCI) in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P < 0.05),while the β3 cell function insulin secretion index (HBCI) between the two groups had no significant difference(P > 0.05);the Angptl2 level in the observation group was positively correlated to HOMA-IR and MBCI(r=0.813,0.854,P < 0.05).Conclusion The Angptl2 level in patients with T2DM and IGT increases significantly.Significant insulin resistance and impaired beta cell function are found among the patients.Angptl2 level is positively correlated to the islet cell function of patients with IGT.关键词
