Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of different methods in the prevention of dry socket after extraction of wisdom teeth to provide clinical reference for the prevention of dry socket.Methods A total of 208 patients with mandibular impacted teeth extracted in our hospital were selected.The involved teeth were anaesthetized with 2％ lidocaine and extracted by joint forceful method,and then the patients were divided into three groups for the prevention of dry socket:group A (n=69) was treated with partial filling of gelatin sponge,group B (n=71) with partial filling of Yunnan Baiyao gelatin sponge and group C (n=68) with partial filling of minocycline gelatin sponge.Results The incidence of dry socket was 15.9％ in group A,7.0％ in group B and 2.9％ in group C,showing significant difference among the three groups (P ＜ 0.05).The severity of dry socket in group A was higher than that in groups B and C,and that in group C was lower than that in group B.Conclusion The partial filling of Yunnan Baiyao and minocycline gelatin sponge can effectively lower the incidence of dry socket,and the partial filling of minocycline gelatin sponge can relieve the condition of dry socket.关键词
