Abstract

It can reflect profoundly the interference effects and provide the basis on the designs of jamming and anti-jamming to understand the specific effects of typical active noise interferences for radar signal processing. The thesis is focused on the interference effects of pulse compression by Radio Frequency noise, Noise Amplitude Modulation jamming, Noise Frequency Modulation jamming and Noise Phase Modulation jamming. First, their characteristics are compared according to power spectral density, bandwidth and power of four active jamming modes. Then, by theoretical deduction, the changes of different jamming methods and the influences on effective interference bandwidth and power suppression ratio under the Linear Frequency Modulation(LFM) pulse compression are studied. Finally, the influences of active interference on pulse compression are concluded and simulations are performed to validate their correctness. Results show that the effective interference bandwidth after pulse compression is related to the sighting error of jamming center frequency, the signal carrier frequency and the bandwidth overlap;and the ratio of output interference power to input interference power is equal to the ratio of effective interference bandwidth to interference bandwidth before pulse compression. Besides, the power suppression ratio is also proportional to the ratio of effective interference bandwidth to bandwidth before pulse compression.
