摘要

Abstract

With the increase of wind power penetration in power system,the frequency control ability of power system completely depending on traditional power supply becomes weakened.This actuality requires wind power should take part in the frequency regulation process combined with the traditional power.Firstly,considering wind power's fast response ability and thermal power's long-term continuity characteristic during primary frequency control,a joint primary frequency control strategy was proposed in the paper.Secondly,according to the different operating conditions,an improved packet optimization and power allocation strategy for wind turbines was presented to make the wind turbines participate and exit frequency control in an orderly manner,which effectively avoid the secondary drops of system frequency.Finally,the speed recovery and protection module were both ameliorated to raise the security of wind turbine during primary frequency control.The simulation results showed that the proposed approaches can effectively implement ajoint primary frequency control ofwind power and thermal power.Under the premise of ensuring safety and economy,these approaches fully used the frequency control capacity of wind power and effectively improved the frequency characteristics of the power system.
