摘要

Abstract

The adjustability of combined heat and power (CHP) plant is one of the main reasons for wind power curtailment problem in northern China,and thermal energy storage (TES) is an effective way to increase flexibility for CHP.A novel dispatch mode for the joint operation of wind farm (WF) and CHP plant was proposed in this paper.Based on wind power forecast scenarios,an optimal dispatch model for this operation mode considering the uncertainty of wind power output was proposed.This model can make full use of the flexibility provided by the TES system in CHP plant to realize the coordination between the revenue of selling electricity and the penalty cost for CHP and WF,and thus obtain the optimal operation strategies for the joint operation.Then the system operation benefits for different operation modes were analyzed,and the influence of electricity price on operation results was discussed.Under the current background of China's electric power market reform,the proposed joint operation optimal dispatch model can provide useful information for the coordinated operation of WFs,CHP plants and power grid,especially when there is bidding priority for these peak load units used for renewable energy integration in the market,and besides,this operation mode can promote wind accommodation effectively.
