摘要

Abstract

The refractory clay deposit is gently tilted and stratified in the Carboniferous Benxi Formation,and the orebodies are mainly composed of high-alumina clays and hard clays.Through the ore chemical analysis,microscopic characteristics and XRD analysis,the main components are monohydrate diaspore and kaolinite.The endothermic peak temperature of the ore is about 535℃ and the exothermic peak temperature is about 980℃,which is obtained by differential thermal analysis curves.It is believed that the ore-beating strata of Benxi Formation strata inherited the paleo-continental weathering crust formed since Middle Ordovician,bottomup chip by weathering crust depression crater where land filling to the upper epicontinental coastal swamp facies,formed the known as the Fe-Al layer of ore-bearing rock series,different clay layer formed by all kinds of clay minerals,the occurrence and distribution characteristics of the ore-bearing strata are mainly controlled by the ancient karst landform and weathering crust topography of the north-south tectonic fissures.
